ABSTRACT: This study Examined the Role of Early Childhood Education in Enhancing Visual Arts Skills. The objectives of this study were to: (1) evaluate the effectiveness of early childhood education (ECE) programs in enhancing visual arts skills, (2) assess the impact of visual arts activities on creativity and self-expression, and (3) determine the long-term benefits of arts education on cognitive and emotional development. A survey design was chosen to collect comprehensive data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with visual arts in ECE. A sample size of 160 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and children aged 4-6, was selected using purposive sampling. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers in Osun State, Nigeria, known for its rich cultural heritage and focus on arts education. Findings revealed that ECE programs significantly enhanced children's visual arts skills, fostering creativity and self-expression. It was recommended that early childhood education centers integrate visual arts activities into their curricula and provide training for educators to effectively teach arts skills.
